📅 Last updated: April 19, 2026This Privacy Policy explains how CommandIT LLC (“CommandIT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit commandyourtech.com (the “Site”), use the Fix-IT-Bot mobile application (the “App”), or book our tech support services. By using the Site, App, or our services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Who We Are
CommandIT LLC is a Florida limited liability company providing residential and small business tech support. We are based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. You can reach us at support@commanditllc.com or (954) 247-8362.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide: When you contact us, submit a lead form, or book a service, we collect your name, email address, phone number, service address (for in-home visits), a description of the device or issue, and any optional notes you include.
Payment information: When you book a paid service, payment is processed by Square. We do not store, process, or have access to your full payment card number. Square provides us with limited transaction data such as the last four digits of the card, billing ZIP, and transaction ID.
Fix-IT-Bot app data: If you use the Fix-IT-Bot App, we collect the email address and user ID you use to create your account, your diagnostic session data (device type, issue description, troubleshooting steps attempted, Wi-Fi speed test results, QR scan results, and battery diagnostic results where applicable), and a device identifier used to sync your Pro subscription across devices.
Server logs: Our Site and App servers automatically log standard technical information including IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages or screens accessed, and timestamps. This is used to operate the service, prevent abuse, and improve performance.
Cookies and similar technologies: The Site uses necessary cookies to remember your consent choices and keep basic session state. We use analytics cookies only if you accept them through our cookie banner.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiry and provide the tech support service you requested.
- To schedule appointments through Square Appointments and send confirmation, reminder, and follow-up messages.
- To process payments through Square.
- To operate the Fix-IT-Bot App, including syncing your diagnostic history across devices if you are a Pro subscriber.
- To send optional tech tip newsletters, but only if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email.
- To investigate and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. We do not use your diagnostic session data to train public or third-party AI models.
5. Data Retention
- Lead forms and contact inquiries: up to 12 months from last activity, then deleted or anonymized.
- Booking and service records: retained for up to 7 years to comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations.
- Fix-IT-Bot App diagnostic sessions: automatically deleted 90 days after the session date. Pro subscribers may retain session history for as long as their subscription is active.
- Server logs: up to 90 days.
- Newsletter subscriber list: until you unsubscribe.
You may request earlier deletion at any time by emailing support@commanditllc.com.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Request deletion of your information, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Unsubscribe from newsletters at any time.
- Withdraw consent for optional data uses at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@commanditllc.com. We will respond within 30 days.
California residents (CCPA and CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To submit a request, email support@commanditllc.com with “California Privacy Request” in the subject line.
7. How to Delete Your Fix-IT-Bot Account
You can request deletion of your Fix-IT-Bot App account and all associated diagnostic session data by:
- Emailing support@commanditllc.com from the email address on your account with the subject line “Delete My Fix-IT-Bot Account,” or
- Visiting commandyourtech.com/delete-account and completing the deletion request form.
We will confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete deletion within 30 days. Some information, such as paid transaction records, may be retained as required by law.
8. Children
The Site, App, and our services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact support@commanditllc.com and we will delete it.
Users must be at least 18 years old to book paid services or create a Fix-IT-Bot account. Parents or guardians may book services on behalf of a minor household member.
9. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted database storage through Supabase, access controls, multi-factor authentication on administrative accounts, and vendor agreements with Square and AnyDesk that require appropriate security practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100 percent secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Data Breach Notification
If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you and applicable regulators as required by Florida law and any other applicable law, using the contact information you provided.
11. International Users
Our services are intended for users located in the United States. If you access the Site or App from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the Site or by email. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
