No sound through HDMI on Windows (TV or monitor)
Windows is sending the video to your TV but not the audio. HDMI audio is a separate setting from video. We'll switch your audio output to HDMI and make sure Windows recognizes your TV as an audio device. This takes about a minute.
When you connect via HDMI, Windows sends the video signal to the TV but keeps audio on your computer speakers by default. Your TV or monitor has speakers but Windows doesn't know to use them. We'll change your audio output from your computer speakers to HDMI.

- Checking the TV volume instead of the Windows audio settings. The TV volume and Windows audio are separate controls.
- Assuming the HDMI cable is fine because video works. Audio requires a stronger connection than video.
