PC stuck in the Automatic Repair loop and won't start

Your PC is caught in a restart loop because Windows can't start normally. This almost always fixes: restart the computer three times to get to recovery options, then click 'Troubleshoot' and run 'Startup Repair'. If that doesn't work in two tries, restart into Safe Mode and a full restart clears it.

The Automatic Repair loop happens when Windows detects something wrong at startup but can't fix it on its own, so it keeps trying. It's a file that got corrupted, a driver that's broken, or the power cutting out during an update. The fix is to restart a few times to reach the recovery menu, then run the built-in Startup Repair tool. That fixes 90 percent of cases. If that doesn't work, Safe Mode can help you remove what's causing the problem.
