My email says Sent but the other person never got it
Sent means your email left your account successfully. It doesn't mean the recipient got it. The message likely got caught by their spam filter, was blocked because of a large attachment, or was sent to a slightly wrong address.
When an email shows Sent, your job is done — it left your account. But the recipient's email system can have rejected it, filtered it, or the address can have been slightly wrong. We'll check what happened and either resend it correctly or get confirmation it arrived.

Skip — I just want a technicianCommon mistakes to avoid
- Send the same email multiple times without changing anything — if the first failed, sending 10 copies won't help and can block your address
- Assume your account is broken if one person didn't get something — if you can send and receive normally with others, the issue is specific to that message or recipient
- Send sensitive information as an attachment when delivery is uncertain — use a secure cloud link instead
Signs you need professional help
- If you get a bounce-back mentioning IP blacklist, reputation, or spam source — contact your email provider
- If no one is receiving your emails regardless of who you send to — this points to your account or sending settings
- If you send to a business and they consistently don't receive your emails despite confirming the address
- If you want to set up a professional business email address less likely to be filtered
