Windows screen recording not working with Xbox Game Bar or Snipping Tool
Game Bar either isn't on or doesn't have permission to record. We'll turn it on, make sure recording is enabled, and check your storage space. That fixes recording for most people.
When screen recording stops working on Windows, it's commonly because Game Bar is turned off, or recording is disabled in settings. Sometimes there's not enough storage space for the video file. We'll enable Game Bar, turn on recording, check your drive space, and test it again.
