Smartwatch not tracking your sleep
Sleep tracking doesn't work unless the watch is on, the band is snug, and tracking is enabled in the app. Make sure the watch is charged and turned on, the band is tight enough for the sensors to touch skin, and sleep tracking is turned on in the phone app. Restart the watch and phone app to refresh the connection.
Smartwatches track sleep by detecting your body movements and heart rate throughout the night. For this to work, the watch needs to be on, snug on your wrist so the sensors touch your skin, and enabled for sleep tracking. If sleep tracking is off in the app, the watch has no reason to save the data. Restarting the watch and enabling the feature fixes it.

Skip — I just want a technicianCommon mistakes to avoid
- Wearing the watch too loose. People think it's uncomfortable when tight, but loose bands don't allow sensor contact
- Assuming the watch is broken when sleep tracking is simply turned off. It's off by default and needs to be enabled
- Forgetting to charge the watch and then wondering why it's not tracking sleep. A dead watch can't do anything
Signs you need professional help
- You've enabled sleep tracking, tightened the band, and the watch is charged, but no data appears Sleep tracking works for a few nights and then stops without any changes on your end The watch is brand new and never tracked sleep even on the first night
