Smartwatch screen is too dim even at full brightness
A dim screen at full brightness is caused by a setting that limits brightness to save battery, or by a screen that's dirty or damaged. First, make sure you're not in Power Saving mode — that makes the screen much dimmer. If that's not it, restart your watch and check if the screen gets brighter.
Your smartwatch screen can be dim because of a power-saving setting that limits brightness, because the screen itself is getting old, or because dirt or a screen protector is blocking light. Power Saving mode is the quickest fix to check — it's on by default on some watches and makes the screen almost unusable. If that's not the problem, restarting helps. If the screen is still dark, the display hardware can be failing.
