No sound from TV after connecting a soundbar
The TV's audio output is probably going to the soundbar but the soundbar isn't turned on or isn't selected as the audio output. Check that the soundbar is powered on and set to receive audio from your TV. This fixes it in most cases.
When you connect a soundbar, your TV automatically sends its audio to the soundbar instead of the TV's built-in speakers. If you don't hear anything, the soundbar can be off, on the wrong input, or your TV isn't sending audio to it. A quick check of the connections and settings gets sound back immediately.
