How to connect a soundbar to your TV using HDMI ARC
HDMI ARC is the easiest way to connect a soundbar — it uses a single HDMI cable and sends sound from your TV straight to the soundbar. Find the HDMI port on your TV labeled HDMI 3 or 4 (or check your manual), plug the soundbar in there, and turn on HDMI ARC in the TV's sound settings.
HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) lets your TV send sound to the soundbar through a single cable. This is much simpler than running separate audio cables. The trick is using the right HDMI port — your TV has one that supports ARC, HDMI 3 or 4. Once it's plugged in, you enable ARC in the TV's settings and the soundbar takes over all the audio.
