Smart TV parental controls not blocking content
Parental controls need to be set up in two places on your TV: in the TV settings and inside each streaming app. If one place isn't protected, kids can get around it. Check both, and make sure you're using a PIN that's not easy to guess. This takes about 10 minutes to secure properly.
Smart TVs have parental controls built in, but streaming apps like Netflix have their own separate protections. If you only set it up in one place, kids can still watch restricted content through the other. We'll set up controls in the TV settings, make sure apps require a PIN to play mature content, and double-check that your PIN is secure.
Fix-IT-Bot will walk you through each step — just tap, no typing needed.

- Setting up parental controls only in the TV Settings and forgetting to also set them up inside Netflix and other apps.
- Using a PIN that's easy to guess, like 1111 or 2222. Kids will figure it out quickly.
- Not realizing that each app needs its own parental controls setup.
