TV remote not controlling volume on TV or soundbar
The remote battery is dead or the remote isn't paired to control volume on your TV or soundbar. Replace the batteries in the remote first. If that doesn't work, you may need to program the remote or switch the TV's audio output setting. Most of the time it's just dead batteries.
When a remote won't control volume, it's in most cases a battery issue, the remote is out of range, or the remote isn't set up to control that specific device. We'll check the batteries, make sure the remote is properly pointed at the TV, and then check if the TV and soundbar are properly connected.
Fix-IT-Bot will walk you through each step — just tap, no typing needed.
