The difference between HDMI ARC and eARC explained

ARC sends basic sound from your TV to a soundbar through an HDMI cable. eARC does the same thing but handles higher quality sound formats like Dolby Atmos.

HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) and eARC (enhanced Audio Return Channel) both let your TV send audio to a soundbar through the same cable you use to watch, instead of needing a separate audio cable. eARC is newer and faster, and it supports better-quality sound like Dolby Atmos. ARC works fine for regular stereo sound, but if you want the best audio quality, eARC is the better choice.
