Your TV colours look faded or washed out
Washed-out colours are a settings issue, not a broken screen. Check your TV's Picture Mode first. If it's on 'Eco' or 'Energy Saving', change it to 'Normal' or 'Vivid'. Then check the Saturation slider and bump it up slightly.
TV colours depend on brightness, contrast, and saturation settings. When colours look washed out despite normal brightness, it's because saturation is set too low, brightness is too high, or the TV is in an energy-saving mode. A quick settings check almost always fixes it.

- Assuming the TV is dying when really just one or two settings are wrong
- Increasing brightness thinking it will improve colour when brightness is already too high
- Resetting the entire TV when adjusting one or two sliders would have fixed it
Signs you need professional help
