TV shows ghosting or blur on fast-moving content

This is almost always motion smoothing making the picture look softer. Turn off motion smoothing, TruMotion, or MotionFlow. this removes the ghosting and gives you a sharp picture again. This one setting fixes it for almost everyone.

Motion smoothing creates extra frames to make movement look smoother, but it also creates ghosting or blur as a side effect. Turning off motion smoothing removes the ghosting and gives you a sharp, natural picture. The downside is that some movies will look slightly more choppy, but the ghosting goes away completely.
