Audio is out of sync when casting with Chromecast

Audio sync problems when casting are almost always because the WiFi connection is unstable or weak. Move your phone and Chromecast closer to the router, or connect the Chromecast to the router with an Ethernet cable.

When you cast to Chromecast, your phone sends the video and audio over WiFi. If the WiFi connection is unstable or weak, the audio arrives at a different time than the video and gets out of sync. Moving your phone and Chromecast closer to the router strengthens the signal, or you can plug the Chromecast into the router with an Ethernet cable for a rock-solid connection.
