Soundbar connected to TV via HDMI but no audio
Make sure the soundbar is plugged into the correct HDMI ARC port (such as HDMI 3 or 4), enable HDMI ARC in TV settings, set the audio output to HDMI ARC, and turn on CEC. If you're still not hearing anything, test with an optical cable to isolate the problem.
HDMI ARC sends audio backwards through an HDMI cable from your TV to a soundbar. Only specific HDMI ports support ARC (such as port 3 or 4). Your TV must have HDMI ARC turned on in settings, and you must explicitly select HDMI ARC as your audio output. CEC needs to be on for full compatibility.
