Zoom audio not working on your laptop
Nine times out of ten, your microphone is muted in Zoom. Look at the bottom left of your Zoom window for a microphone icon with a line through it. Click it to unmute. If it's already unmuted, check your laptop's volume, make sure Zoom has permission to use the microphone, and restart the app.
Zoom needs three things to work: your microphone has to be turned on, Zoom has to have permission to use it, and the right microphone has to be selected in settings. If any of these is missing, you won't be able to talk or hear. The most common problem is accidentally muting yourself in Zoom. That's why we start there.
Fix-IT-Bot will walk you through each step — just tap, no typing needed.

- Thinking the microphone is broken when Zoom just doesn't have permission to use it
