OneDrive stuck on 'Processing changes' and not syncing
OneDrive gets stuck processing when there are too many changes happening at once or there's a temporary connection issue. Restart OneDrive first. This fixes it most of the time. If that doesn't work, check your internet connection and then sign out and back in.
OneDrive processes changes gradually as you create and edit files. Uploading them to the cloud in the background. Sometimes OneDrive gets stuck and stops processing these changes, which means your files stay on your computer but don't upload. The quickest fix is to restart the OneDrive service on your computer, which clears out whatever got stuck and lets it start fresh.

Skip — I just want a technicianCommon mistakes to avoid
- Turning off OneDrive completely instead of just restarting it. This stops syncing entirely but doesn't fix the stuck problem
- Assuming the problem is your computer when it's actually your internet connection. Always check internet first
- Signing out of your Microsoft account instead of just OneDrive. This is a different process and doesn't help here
Signs you need professional help
