Google Drive not syncing files to your computer
Google Drive sync stops when the app loses connection, your account signs out, or it's been paused. Check that the app is running and your account is still signed in. If it's paused, click the button to resume. This fixes it in most cases.
Google Drive syncs files between your computer and the cloud so you have them in both places. When syncing stops, new files stay online but don't reach your computer, and files you edit on your computer won't update online. This happens when the sync app pauses, loses internet, or your account signs out. Restarting the app or signing back in clears it.

- Restarting your computer instead of just the Google Drive app. The app restart is faster and fixes it
- Not waiting long enough after starting the app. Google Drive takes a minute or two to catch up after it restarts
- Thinking you need to sign in to Google in your web browser. You sign in through the Google Drive app itself
