You have Dropbox conflicted copies because you edited on two devices at once

You edited the same file on two devices before sync completed. Open both versions to find your latest work, delete the conflicted copy, and wait for sync next time before editing elsewhere.

This happens when you edit the same file on two computers at the same time. Dropbox can't decide which version is right, so it saves both. You pick the one with your best work, delete the duplicate, and next time wait for 'All synced' before editing on another device.
