Outdoor security camera lens foggy or blurry from condensation

Water and condensation on the lens is blocking the view. This is fixable. Wipe the lens clean with a soft cloth, make sure the camera has proper ventilation, and check that the drainage holes are not clogged. If it keeps fogging up, water is getting inside the camera housing and you may need a replacement.

Outdoor cameras get foggy when moisture from the air or rain condenses on the lens. This is common in cold mornings, humid weather, or if the camera is mounted in a location where water can pool. We will clean the lens, improve airflow, check drainage, and figure out if the camera housing is leaking.
