Camera is offline after a power outage
The camera needs a fresh power cycle after the router has fully come back online. The issue is that the camera powered up before the router was ready. Unplug the camera for 10 seconds, plug it back in, and wait 3 minutes for it to reconnect.
During a power outage, the router and cameras all restart at the same time. The camera powers up before the router has finished booting and connecting to the internet. So it can't find the WiFi network yet. The fix is simple: wait for the router to finish starting, then restart the camera.
- ✓Make sure your router is fully online. Open a website on your phone or computer to check
- ✓Look at the router lights. The internet light should be solid green or blue
- ✓Check if other devices are connected to WiFi and working properly
