Camera firmware update is stuck or won't complete
The most common reason is a weak WiFi connection interrupting the download. Unplug the camera for 30 seconds, then plug it back in to restart it. The app resumes the update automatically.
Firmware updates need a strong, uninterrupted connection the whole time. If WiFi drops or the power cuts out, the update fails. A restart lets the camera recover and finish the update on the next try. If it keeps failing, the problem is your WiFi, not the camera.
