Camera stuck in day mode at night or night mode during the day
Your camera's light sensor is either blocked or set to manual mode. First, check that the sensor isn't covered by dirt, dust, or a sticker. Then check the camera's settings and make sure Auto is selected for day-night mode, not Manual.
Cameras have a sensor that detects how bright it is outside. When it gets dark, the camera switches to night mode with infrared to see in the dark. When it gets light, it switches back to normal color. If the sensor can't see the light level, or the setting is on Manual, the camera gets stuck.
