Security camera night vision not activating or picture is dark
Night vision mode is turned off in the camera settings, or something is blocking the infrared lights. First check if night vision is enabled in your app settings. If it is, clean the front of the camera lens and check for any obstructions like a sticker or plastic covering that's still on the camera.
Security cameras have infrared lights that let them see in the dark. If night vision isn't working, the mode is disabled in the settings, the infrared lights are blocked by dirt or debris, or there's a protective sticker still on the lens that the camera came with. We'll check the settings first, then make sure nothing is blocking the camera.
