Your smart plug schedule isn't turning things on and off at the right time
A schedule that doesn't work is almost always caused by the plug not being connected to WiFi, the app not having permission to control the plug, or the time zone being set wrong in the app. Open the smart plug app, check that the plug shows as Connected, and make sure the app's time zone matches your actual location. If the app's time zone is set to a different country, the plug will turn on and off at the wrong times no matter what schedule you create.
Smart plug schedules work by sending commands from your phone's app to the plug over WiFi. If the schedule isn't working, it's because the plug isn't connected to the internet, the app doesn't have permission to control it, or the app's time zone is wrong. We'll check the connection status, confirm the app permissions, and fix the time zone. If the plug is offline, we'll get it back online.

Skip — I just want a technicianCommon mistakes to avoid
- Setting the time zone in their phone's clock instead of the smart plug app — the app has its own separate time zone setting that controls the plug
- Creating a schedule but forgetting to hit Save — the app shows the schedule but doesn't send it to the plug
- Assuming the plug is broken when really it's just offline — unplugging and plugging it back in reconnects it
Signs you need professional help
- The plug is connected and the time zone is correct, but the schedule still doesn't work
- The plug keeps going offline and losing connection to WiFi
- The schedule works for a few days then stops working until you recreate it
