Your smart lock won't unlock from the app

The lock has lost connection to your WiFi or Bluetooth. Turn your phone's Bluetooth off and on, then try unlocking again — this reconnects it for most people. If it still doesn't work, go to your WiFi settings and make sure your lock is still connected to your network.

Smart locks talk to your phone either through Bluetooth (for short distance) or WiFi (for distance). When that connection drops, the app can't send the unlock command. This is almost always a connection problem, not a broken lock. The quickest fix is toggling Bluetooth off and on.
