Smart light switch not controlling the lights
The smart switch is probably not wired correctly to the lights or it lost its connection. First, make sure the switch itself is getting power by looking for a light or checking the app. If it's working but the lights don't turn on, the problem is the physical wiring between the switch and the lights.
A smart switch that looks connected but doesn't control the lights almost always means either the wiring is wrong or there's a settings mismatch in the app. If the switch is powered and connected to WiFi but the lights won't respond, the switch either isn't wired directly to those lights or the app is trying to control lights that don't exist. We'll check the power, the wiring, and the app settings.
