Smart home hub can't find devices during setup
Device discovery fails when your device isn't in pairing mode, is too far from the hub, or the hub's radio has issues. Make sure your device is in pairing mode (look for a blinking light), move it within 10 feet of the hub, and try again.
Hub discovery uses Bluetooth or WiFi to find devices broadcasting their pairing signal. your device must be actively in pairing mode, which is indicated by a flashing light. Failures happen when the pairing mode times out, your device is out of range, or the hub's radio isn't working properly.
