WiFi signal is weak in one specific room of your house

WiFi has a limited range and walls block the signal. Your router is probably too far away or there are too many walls between it and that room. Move the router to a more central location in your house, or add a WiFi booster (called a mesh network or extender) in the weak room. This fixes it for most people.

WiFi signal gets weaker the further you get from your router, and walls block it even more. If one room consistently has poor signal while others don't, the router is probably tucked away in a corner instead of a central spot. Moving it to the middle of your house lets the signal spread evenly. If moving isn't possible, a WiFi booster in the weak room bridges the gap.
