Devices aren't showing up on your network
Devices disappear from your network when they lose connection or when the router forgets them — restart your router by unplugging it for 30 seconds, then have your router forget the network and reconnect to it again. If a new device won't connect at all, make sure you're typing the WiFi password exactly right — passwords are case-sensitive.
Your router keeps a list of all the devices that have connected to it. When a device hasn't connected in a while, or when there's a problem with the connection, the router stops showing it in your router list. You can get it back by restarting the router, then having your router forget the WiFi network and reconnect to it as if it was the first time. If a completely new device won't connect, the problem is almost always a typo in the WiFi password.
Fix-IT-Bot will walk you through each step — just tap, no typing needed.

- Thinking airplane mode is off when it's actually on — airplane mode blocks all wireless connections
- Not waiting long enough for the router to finish restarting — wait a full 2 minutes before trying to connect again
