Can't access your router's admin page at 192.168.1.1
You need to be connected to your router's WiFi network and use the correct IP address. Most routers use 192.168.1.1, but some use 192.168.0.1. Try both. If neither works, you're probably on the wrong network.
The admin page is a private settings panel that lives on your router itself. To reach it, your computer has to be connected to the router. Either through WiFi or a network cable. If you're on a different network or if the router isn't responding, the page won't load. Knowing the right IP address matters too. Different routers use different ones.
Fix-IT-Bot will walk you through each step — just tap, no typing needed.
Skip — I just want a technicianCommon mistakes to avoid
- Connecting to your phone's hotspot or a guest network instead of the router's WiFi. Check the network name carefully
- Typing the IP address with http:// or www. Just type the numbers with dots, nothing else
- Forgetting that a factory reset wipes all your WiFi settings. Be prepared to set the router up again from scratch
Signs you need professional help
- You've tried both IP addresses, restarted the router, and the page still won't load The page loads but you can't log in and factory reset didn't fix it The router restarts but its lights behave strangely or it keeps disconnecting
