What the lights on your router mean
Most routers have a power light (always on), an internet light (solid when connected), and WiFi lights (blinking when devices connect). A solid green or white light is good. A blinking light means data is moving.
Router lights tell you if your internet is connected, if WiFi is on, and when data is moving. Understanding them helps you spot problems at a glance. A blinking light during a download is normal, but a red internet light means something is wrong. Most lights work the same way across different routers.
