Keyboard typing wrong characters or symbols
Your keyboard layout is set wrong in your system settings. You probably have the wrong language or keyboard layout selected. Go to your keyboard settings and change the layout back to English QWERTY. If that doesn't work, turn off Caps Lock and check if Num Lock is accidentally on.
Keyboards type wrong characters when the system thinks you're using a different language or keyboard layout. Your Windows or Mac is set to French AZERTY, German QWERTZ, or another layout. We'll change it back to English QWERTY, and make sure Caps Lock and Num Lock aren't causing issues.
Fix-IT-Bot will walk you through each step — just tap, no typing needed.
