Your Mac WiFi is slow even though your internet is fast
Your Mac is probably on the slower 2.4GHz band instead of 5GHz. Option-click the WiFi icon to check which band you're using. Switch to 5GHz and also change your DNS to 8.8.8.8 to speed things up.
When your Mac shows slow speeds while other devices are fast, your Mac is probably on the slower 2.4GHz WiFi band instead of the faster 5GHz band. Or your DNS settings are adding delay to every web request. Switching bands and changing DNS resolves most cases.
