No sound from external speakers or headphones
Check that your speakers or headphones are selected in Sound settings, make sure volume is turned up, and check they're plugged in properly. Most of the time it's just the wrong output device selected.
Sound issues come from three things: the wrong output device is selected, volume is muted or at zero, or the connection is loose. We'll check your Sound settings, make sure the right device is selected, and test the connection.
