Night Shift stopped turning on automatically on your Mac

Night Shift scheduling breaks sometimes in macOS. The fix is simple — go to System Settings → Displays → Night Shift and toggle the schedule off and back on. That re-activates it within 30 seconds.

Night Shift is supposed to warm up your screen at night to reduce blue light and help you sleep better. Sometimes the scheduling feature just stops working even though the setting looks fine. Re-enabling the schedule almost always fixes it. If that doesn't work, it is a conflict with another app or a screen profile that's overriding Night Shift.
