iMessage on Mac not syncing with iPhone, messages missing
Your iPhone and Mac need to be signed in with the same Apple ID and on the same WiFi network for iMessage to sync. Most of the time one of these isn't set up correctly. We'll check both, and if they're fine, signing out and back in fixes the sync.
When iMessage doesn't sync between your Mac and iPhone, it's because they're not signed in with the same Apple ID, they're not on the same WiFi, or iMessage sync has gotten stuck. We'll check the Apple ID, WiFi, and the iMessage settings on both devices.

Skip — I just want a technicianCommon mistakes to avoid
- Signing out of just Messages instead of signing out of the entire Apple ID. You need to sign out of the Apple ID in System Settings.
- Not realizing they're on different WiFi networks. Guest networks don't work with iMessage sync.
Signs you need professional help
- If both devices are signed in with the same Apple ID, on the same WiFi, iMessage is enabled, and messages still aren't syncing, get in touch. There might be an account issue.
