Screen recording has video but no audio
Long-press the Screen Record button in Control Center (don't just tap it) to see audio options. Make sure the microphone toggle is red and on. Then check Settings > Privacy > Microphone to confirm screen recording has permission.
Screen recording captures two types of sound: your voice through the microphone, and app sounds like music or notifications. Most people just tap the record button, which skips the audio settings. Long-pressing shows you the audio options. Some apps like Spotify and Netflix block audio recording on purpose.
Fix-IT-Bot will walk you through each step — just tap, no typing needed.
