Apple Pencil won't connect to your iPad
Restart your iPad, check that Apple Pencil has enough battery charge, and try pairing again. For 1st and 2nd generation Pencils, tap them on the iPad's screen. For 3rd gen, go to Settings > Bluetooth and look for it there.
Apple Pencil connects to iPad using Bluetooth (wireless) and requires sufficient battery charge. Different Pencil models pair differently — some use proximity pairing (tapping the screen), others use the Bluetooth settings. Connection issues come from low battery, incorrect pairing method, or Bluetooth being disabled.
Fix-IT-Bot will walk you through each step — just tap, no typing needed.
