External keyboard won't connect to your iPad
First check if Bluetooth is turned on in Settings. Restart both your iPad and keyboard completely. If previously paired, forget the keyboard in Settings > Bluetooth and pair it again.
External keyboards connect to iPad through Bluetooth (wireless) or Smart Connector (magnetic attachment). Connection problems come from Bluetooth being disabled, the keyboard being out of battery, incorrect pairing, or dirty connector pins. A restart of both devices fixes most issues.
Fix-IT-Bot will walk you through each step — just tap, no typing needed.
