FaceTime calls not ringing on your iPhone
FaceTime notifications are probably turned off in your settings, or your Do Not Disturb mode is blocking them. Check Settings → Notifications → FaceTime and make sure Allow Notifications is turned on. If that's already on, check Control Center to see if Do Not Disturb is on. That stops FaceTime from ringing too.
Your iPhone needs to be set to show FaceTime notifications so it can alert you when a call comes in. If notifications are off or Do Not Disturb is on, FaceTime will run in the background but won't ring or vibrate. We'll turn on FaceTime notifications and check your Do Not Disturb settings to make sure you hear incoming calls.

Skip — I just want a technicianCommon mistakes to avoid
- Not realizing that Do Not Disturb blocks all notifications, including FaceTime calls. People think FaceTime is broken when the mode is just on
- Forgetting about the physical mute switch on the side of the phone. They turn it off and nothing rings until they toggle this back on
- Not checking that FaceTime notifications have a sound selected. They turn on notifications but leave the sound set to silent
Signs you need professional help
- You've turned on FaceTime notifications, Do Not Disturb is off, and your phone isn't in silent mode, but FaceTime still won't ring. FaceTime was ringing fine until recently and nothing has changed in your settings. Give us a call and we can help.
