iPhone screen turns off too quickly or screen timeout too short
Your iPhone has a setting called Auto-Lock that turns off the screen after a certain amount of time to save battery. If it feels too short, you can change it to 2 minutes, 5 minutes, or longer. Go to Settings → Display & Brightness → Auto-Lock and pick a longer time.
Auto-Lock is a power-saving feature that turns off your screen when you are not using it. This prevents accidental touches and saves battery. The timeout is set to 30 seconds by default, which is very short. Most people want it longer. You can change it to anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes, or turn it off entirely if you are charging your phone.

- Disabling Auto-Lock completely on a device that runs on battery - this drains the battery very quickly
- Not realizing Low Power Mode was restricting the screen timeout and wondering why the setting did not help
