What is mesh WiFi and do you need it?

Mesh WiFi is multiple small routers working together to cover your whole space. Instead of one router creating dead zones, mesh routers all have the same name and your devices switch between them automatically. You need it if you have dead zones, a large space, or lots of devices connecting at once.

Regular WiFi routers broadcast from one spot and the signal gets weaker the further away you go. Mesh WiFi uses multiple units called nodes spread through your building. They all have the same name and your devices switch between them automatically as you move around. It's like having multiple WiFi broadcasters all working together instead of one strong router fighting against walls and distance.
