What is screen mirroring and how do you use it?

Screen mirroring sends everything on your phone or computer screen wirelessly to a TV, projector, or wireless display device. It works over WiFi and lets you control the screen from your phone while it shows on the bigger screen. Every modern phone and computer supports it — you just need a compatible TV or wireless display device on the same WiFi network.

Screen mirroring is a wireless technology that duplicates your phone or computer screen on a TV, projector, or other display device. Instead of plugging in a cable, your device sends the picture over WiFi. This works great for presentations, showing photos, watching videos on a bigger screen, or sharing your screen with a group. Different devices use slightly different names for this technology — Apple calls it AirPlay, Android and Windows call it Casting or Miracast — but they all do the same thing.
