What is shared access on a security camera and how do permissions work?

Shared access means other people can view your camera on their phone or computer using the camera app. You control exactly what they can do — they can just watch, or they can also adjust settings and arm or disarm the system. Each person gets a separate account with their own permission level.

Think of shared access like giving someone a key to your house. You decide what rooms they can go in and what they can touch. With a camera, you can give people view-only access (they can see the video but can't change anything), or you can give them full access (they can change settings, delete footage, and manage everything). You can add and remove people any time.
