Doorbell camera not sending ring notifications to your phone

Doorbell notifications stop when the app doesn't have permission to send them, your phone's notification settings block the app, or the doorbell has a weak WiFi connection that drops. Start by checking that you have notifications turned on for the doorbell app in your phone settings, then check that your WiFi signal at the doorbell is strong.

Your doorbell app needs three things to send you notifications: permission from your phone to show alerts, notifications turned on in the app's settings, and a strong WiFi connection so the doorbell can reach the app. The most common issue is your phone blocking notifications from the app without you realizing, or the doorbell WiFi signal being too weak so it misses events. Check your phone's notification settings first, then check your WiFi signal strength at the doorbell location. If the signal is weak, move the router closer or add a WiFi extender.
