Teams meeting recording didn't save or you can't find it
Teams recordings take 5 to 60 minutes to process and appear in the chat. First, check if the record button finished properly. If someone ended the meeting before the recording was stopped, it can not have saved. Check the chat again in a few minutes.
When you hit Record in a Teams meeting, Teams sends the video to be processed. This takes time. The recording shows up as a link in the meeting chat once it's done. If the meeting ends while recording is active, Teams sometimes doesn't save it properly. A recording that processed successfully will always show a link in the chat eventually.

- Ending the meeting while recording is still active instead of stopping the recording first. This can cause the file to not save
- Looking for the recording in the wrong location. Team recordings go to the team channel folder, personal recordings go to OneDrive
- Thinking the recording shows up instantly. Teams takes 5 to 60 minutes to process
- Not checking the chat carefully. The recording link is sometimes hidden under older messages
