How to restore an older version of a file in SharePoint
SharePoint saves every version of every file automatically. Right-click the file, click Version history, and you'll see every saved copy with timestamps. Click the version you want and choose Restore. It's that simple.
Every time you save a file in SharePoint, the system keeps a copy of the old version. You can go back to any of those versions at any time. Nothing is ever lost. This gives you a safety net if someone makes a mistake or you want to see what changed.
Fix-IT-Bot will walk you through each step — just tap, no typing needed.

- Thinking that restoring an old version deletes the current one. It doesn't, it just puts the old file back as the active version
- Looking at the wrong file. Make sure you're opening version history on the right document
- Giving up when you don't see the version in the first few items. Scroll down, there are lots of versions
