Outlook search returns no results or wrong results
Outlook's search index is out of date or corrupted. Rebuild the index by going to File → Options → Search and clicking Rebuild or Reset. This scans all your emails and updates the search database. Most search problems are fixed this way.
Outlook uses a search index to quickly find emails. When the index is corrupted, incomplete, or not updated, search returns wrong or no results. We will clear the search index, rebuild it to scan your entire mailbox, and verify that search is working correctly afterward.
